Some years ago now, I was invited by a senior retired federal police officer to attend a lecture at the police academy on “Duck, Cover, Run”……the government required citizen response in the event an assassin starts his work. I politely refused telling him that my years in the Army had trained me to run towards the sound of gunfire…..not retreat like a rabbit on steroids………I was never invited back. 🙂 Canada!
